Quirky Group Staffing The Big Feastival for Teapigs
Over the Bank Holiday weekend, our team was at The Big Feastival on Alex James’ Farm in Oxfordshire, providing staff for Teapigs. The boutique festival combines food with music and family fun.
Representing Teapigs
Our brand ambassadors manned the Teapigs stand, serving tea to happy campers morning and evening, making sure visitors had the best possible campsite experience. They also worked hard to raise awareness about the Teapigs brand whilst providing the perfect morning cuppa or relaxing herbal teas before bedtime.
The Acts
The Big Feastival is, as the name suggests, a celebration of food. Still, the performers this year rivalled the delicacies for the best experience on-site. The headliners were Olly Murs and Madness, and two of our other favourite performers were Ella Eyre and newcomer Archie Smith. Not to mention, we also saw a DJ set from Alex James in The Cheese Hub, his own food and drinks oasis where everyone had an after hours boogie.
The atmosphere of the whole festival is always relaxed and family friendly, and we recommend everyone to visit next year.
The Food
Trying food from every street food stall we could get our hands on, we were never disappointed. Our absolute favourite was the bacon and egg buttie from street food truck masters Le Swine. They had also partnered up with Sipsmith in creating a limited edition cocktail: the absolute best Bloody Mary we’ve ever tried.
For the veggies and vegans, we brunched at 26 Grains who have a scrumptious avocado on rye. Probably the most talked about vegan stand though was Buddha Bowl. And having tried their curry bowl, we can safely say it was absolutely worth the hype.
