Teapigs and Harvey Nichols: A Matcha Made in Heaven Quirky Group transform the Fifth Floor Terrace at Harvey Nichols overnight

We’re delighted to have created another Quirky Space, completely transforming the Fifth Floor Terrace at Harvey Nichols, turning it into a matcha paradise for a month-long Teapigs takeover. The premium tea brand are promoting their matcha range in this haven designed to help you escape from the fast pace of London life.

Team Quirky Group completely remodelled the terrace throughout the night - what a way to celebrate International Workers’ Day!

In line with the premium feel of Teapigs’ matcha range, the terrace has been filled with relaxing white Eames-style chairs, clean lines and luscious green foliage. We also added custom-made communal tables and benches crafted from white-stained wood.

With seating for 80 people, the terrace also contains a stylish VIP corner, an ideal spot to promote the calm, focused energy imbued by matcha.

The takeover of the terrace was completed by bespoke shelving in which the full Teapigs matcha range is displayed, including bowls, matcha kits and even a recipe book for the super-powered green drink.

Quirky Group’s attention to detail did not stop there, with table top succulent plants, clematis and roses trailed around the mirrors and over the terrace railings. The style of Teapigs and their matcha range comes through in every detail promoting tranquillity and good health.

Throughout the month of Matcha, the Fifth Floor Terrace will be serving a variety of Teapigs specials on their matcha-inspired food and drinks menu. Two themed events will also be held – a matcha masterclass and a cocktail masterclass on May 18 and 25 respectively, you can book your tickets on the Harvey Nichols website.
