Have you decided to give your after work drinks a break this month and join Stoptober? We've made a list of our favourite mocktails and sodas, and we're sure they'll make your weekend even more enjoyable.
T&E No. 1
The delicious Thomas & Evans has a refreshing set of flavours, combining citrus, apple and elderflower. The brand recommends you serve the drink like this:
4 cubes of ice
175ml Thomas & Evans No. 1
Slice of green apple
Sprig of rosemary
Virgin Strawberry Mojito
It might seem like the sunny days are gone, but we can still feel them in spirit through this refreshing virgin mojito.
Ingredients
6 fresh mint leaves
2-3 strawberries
1 1/2 teaspoon caster sugar
2 tablespoon lemon juice/lime juice
Crushed ice
Sparkling water
Mint leaves and slice of lemon for garnishing
Instructions
Put the mint leaves into a chilled glass and add the caster sugar and lemon juice,
Crush the leaves with spoon or muddler until the sugar is dissolved, then add strawberries and crush them a little more.
Filled the glass with crushed ice and top up with sparkling water,
Stir gently and garnish with mint leaves, strawberry and lemon wedges.
The London Essence Co.'s Rhubarb and Cardamom Crafted Soda
Another simple botanical favourite, this soda is part of an all-natural range of craft drinks and mixers. As the company summarises, the soda combines the earthy tartness of rhubarb and a soft sweetness with subtle aromatic notes from their signature cardamom distillate.
If you're not sure about how you feel about Cardamom in drinks, don't let that put you off. We fell in love as soon as we tasted it.
Best served over ice and with a slice of lemon.
